It looks as though the Philadelphia Eagles will be without linebacker Kiko Alonso for an extended period of time.

Alonso, who was acquired in the LeSean McCoy trade, suffered a partially torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The injury is to the same knee that Alonso had surgically repaired in 2014.

While the prognosis isn't as bad as the Eagles initially feared, Alonso will seek a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews to see if his season is over or if he can play through the injury, Rapoport reports.

Philadelphia signed linebacker Najee Goode on Tuesday to fill in for Alonso.
