Dayton forward Dyshawn Pierre will miss the first 10 games of the season as he serves a school-issued suspension, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
Pierre is the team's leading returning scorer and rebounder from last season, averaging 12.7 points and 8.1 boards per game.
The senior, who according to a release is not currently enrolled at the university, will likely be eligible to return on Dec. 22 against Miami (OH).
The Flyers won 27 games last season before losing to Oklahoma in the Round of 32 in the NCAA tournament.
