The Memphis Tigers waited for just the right time to use a nifty play against Bowling Green to tie the game at 41.
With the Tigers trailing the Falcons by seven in the fourth quarter, coach Justin Fuente called this creative play to freeze the Bowling Green defense long enough to allow quarterback Paxton Lynch to hit Tevin Jones for the 48-yard touchdown.
The two teams have combined for over a 1,100 yards of total offense, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Bowling Green put up close to 700 yards of total offense last week vs. Maryland, while the Tigers have averaged 585 yards in the first two games.
