When you're an underdog on the road and a school best known for its basketball program, you don't exactly play it safe when primed for an upset.
Trailing Missouri 9-6 with 53 seconds left, UConn coach Bob Diaco went for it by calling a fake field goal. Unfortunately for Diaco and his Huskies, backup quarterback and holder Tim Boyle's pass was intercepted by Anthony Sherrils to secure the 9-6 win for the Tigers.
The win moved Mizzou to 3-0 to start the season for the third straight year. UConn fell to 2-1.
