Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey will not return to Saturday's game versus Central Michigan due to an upper-body injury.
Dungey was on the receiving end of a vicious hit that forced him from the game.
It's a tough blow for the Orange, as starting pivot Terrel Hunt was lost for the season in Week 1 to an Achilles injury.
Dungey performed admirably when called upon, throwing for 221 yards and two scores last week versus Wake Forest. Austin Wilson came on to relieve Dungey.
