After Rutgers wide receiver Leonte Carroo was arrested and subsequently suspended from the team, details have emerged about the incident that precipitated the disciplinary actions.

Carroo reportedly assaulted a woman - with whom he was romantically involved - outside the Scarlet Knights' training center Saturday night, according to multiple reports.

According to the complainant, Carroo is accused of "picking her up and slamming her down on a concrete surface, injuring her left hip, both palms, left elbow, and left side of the head."

The incident occurred after Rutgers' 37-34 loss to Washington State. Carroo was charged with domestic violence and disorderly persons offense, and released on bail.
