Bills players take shots at Patriots ahead of Week 2 matchup

An impressive Week 1 upset over the Indianapolis Colts appears to have the Buffalo Bills eager for their opportunity to take on the defending Super Bowl champions Sunday.

Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus and safety Aaron Williams, apparently taking on the personality of their boisterous new head coach, weren't shy about sharing their feelings on the New England Patriots on Tuesday.

"Don't nobody likes the Patriots," Dareus said, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN. "Let's just be honest about it now. Put it out there."

Williams shared his respect for what New England's accomplished, but that's as far as he'd go before teeing up what appears to be an increasingly bitter rivalry.

"I don't like New England, so yeah it's definitely personal for me," Williams said. "That's just the way I feel. They're a great football team. Don't get that twisted at all. That's why they're the four-time NFL champs."

"Just the way they carry themselves on the field and stuff. All the stuff that has happened to me in the past with some of the players has definitely gone through the roof for me," Williams added. "That's a reason it's personal for me and they're our rival. It's the history. So it's not just personal. It's the Buffalo Bills' history."

New head coach Rex Ryan's defenses seem to give Tom Brady trouble more often than not, and if that trend continues, Buffalo could certainly stand a chance of pulling off a second consecutive upset to start the year.
