The New Orleans Pelicans are giving strong consideration to offering forward Chris Douglas-Roberts an invite to their training camp, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Douglas-Roberts, 28, played 12 games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 1.6 points and one rebound in 8.6 minutes per outing.
He was dealt to the Boston Celtics in a three-team trade in January, with guard Austin Rivers heading to Los Angeles to play under his father, Doc. Boston ultimately waived Douglas-Roberts three days later.
Rasual Butler and New Zealand's Corey Webster are also in the running to receive camp invites, Stein reports.
