Fifteen sets played, 15 sets won.

Roger Federer continues to look unstoppable at the US Open, punching a ticket to the semis with his fifth consecutive straight-sets win at Flushing Meadows. The 17-time major champ beat 12th-seeded Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 in 1 hour, 27 minutes, and the Frenchman never had a chance.

The lightning-quick victory was his fastest Grand Slam match in a quarterfinal or later since the 2009 Australian Open quarters, where he beat Juan Martin del Potro in just 80 minutes.

The 34-year-old hasn't won a major since grabbing his seventh Wimbledon title in 2012, but he is playing in incredibly high form, losing just two service games since the beginning of the Cincinnati Masters in August - where he ended a three-match losing streak against Novak Djokovic in the final.

Federer joins a semifinals field stacked with the reigning champions of the last four Grand Slam events. He will take on fellow countryman and French Open titleholder Stan Wawrinka in his semi Friday, while Djokovic takes on defending US Open champion Marin Cilic.
