AP Poll: Alabama moves up to No. 2, Notre Dame vaults into top 10
Alabama leapfrogged TCU into the second spot, while Ohio State remains firmly entrenched atop the AP Poll after dismantling Virginia Tech on Monday.
Even though the Horned Frogs held on for a win over Minnesota, the Crimson Tide moved past them thanks to a resounding victory over a strong Wisconsin squad.
Notre Dame moved up two spots to crack the top 10 after a convincing win over Texas, while Texas A&M made the biggest jump, moving from outside the top 25 to No. 16 after blowing out Arizona State.
The Aggies' entrance into the rankings gave the SEC a record 10 teams in the top 25.
Utah also broke into the top 25 after being on the outside looking in for the preseason poll.
