Baylor linebacker Taylor Young left the Bears' opening tilt against SMU on Friday night and didn't return to the field.
He was seen walking the sidelines in his street clothes with his left arm in a sling, and head coach Art Briles revealed after the game that he injured his collarbone.

The linebacker is slated to undergo X-rays, but the team doesn't believe the arm is broken.
A highly-touted sophomore, Young was named Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year last season after totaling 92 tackles and four sacks. He averaged seven tackles per game, good enough for 18th in the conference.
