Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was reportedly hospitalized Wednesday night with a severe migraine.

Two of Jones' siblings posted cryptic messages on Facebook, saying last year's Big Ten championship game MVP had been rushed to an area hospital.

In one Facebook post, brother Devonte Jones wrote that Cardale suffered a "bad headache" that left the Buckeyes signal-caller immobile. In another, Cardale's sister, Sheena Jones, asked well-wishers to keep him in their prayers, saying he was rushed to the emergency ward of an unspecified hospital.

Tony Zarrella of CBS affiliate Cleveland 19, citing an unspecified family member, reported that Jones underwent tests after experiencing severe head pain.

However, some conflicting media reports claimed the ailment is relatively minor.

According to Kayla Anderson of WBNS 10-TV, Jones went to hospital with what appears to be a dehydration-related issue. While Matt Miller of Bleacher Report, citing a school source, reported that Jones was simply suffering from a minor migraine.

Jones' mother described her son's ailment later in the night as "just a headache," saying somewhat reassuringly for Buckeyes fans that their quarterback is "good," according to Dave Briggs of the Toledo Blade.

There has been no confirmation from the team.
