Packers' Bryan Bulaga exits game vs. Eagles with ankle sprain
Green Bay Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga was sidelined in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles after suffering an ankle injury.
After an opposing player fell on the back of his leg while making a tackle, Bulaga appeared to be hurt and went to Green Bay's sidelines to be evaluated by the training staff.
Not being taken to the locker room can likely be considered a positive sign for his status, and head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters after the game that Bulaga's injury is a sprain.
While it's a relief for the Packers that Bulaga's ailment isn't more serious, the injuries are certainly starting to pile up for them. Star wide receiver Jordy Nelson is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL last week, and fellow wideout Randall Cobb left Saturday night's game with a shoulder injury.
