Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings was stretchered off with an apparent leg injury after a strong challenge from Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Drinkwater caught Mings from behind as he tried to reach for the ball in the Bournemouth half. Mings went down immediately, writing in pain.

The stretcher came out, and it took several minutes to resume the game. The crowd at Vitality Stadium gave him a standing ovation.

Adam Smith replaced Mings in the 57th minute with Bournemouth up 1-0 over Leicester. Mings had only replaced Charlie Daniels at half-time.
