No dice, Barcelona.

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol (RFEF) announced Thursday that it rejected the Catalan club's appeal regarding Gerard Pique's four-game ban.

Pique was assigned the suspension for the straight red card he was shown in the second leg of the Supercopa de Espana. After being sent off, he took his protests towards one of the linesman too far, reportedly calling the official a "fucking son of a bitch."

One day after the match, he took to Twitter to apologise for his actions but denied he had insulted the linesman, writing: "I want to apologise because the attitude with which I protested to the linesman wasn't correct. It was a game of great tension in which we were playing for a lot. However, at no moment did I use any type of insult towards him."

It should be noted that Pique already served one of the four games for which he is suspended, sitting out of Barcelona's 1-0 victory at Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

Following the RFEF's rejection of the appeal, he will still miss the Blaugrana's upcoming fixtures against Malaga, Atletico Madrid, and Levante.
