Amid speculation that Real Madrid's star striker Karim Benzema is poised to join Arsenal, the French international posted a tweet Monday to try snuff out any conjecture about his future with the North London club.

Benzema's potential move to Arsene Wenger's side has been one of the summer's most prominent rumours, and social media erupts every time the 27-year-old French international lifts a finger.
The man who scored 15 goals and added 10 helpers for Real in La Liga last season was not on the team sheet for the club's draw with Sporting Gijon Sunday, further fueling speculation that the striker was set to join Arsenal.
That was extinguished Monday when photos of the striker training with the club were posted to Real's official website, and what little hope remained for Arsenal fans likely took another hit when Benzema tweeted the above message.
