Report: RG3's concussion not believed to be severe; could play vs. Ravens

The Washington Redskins could have quarterback Robert Griffin III back in time for their third preseason game.

Griffin's concussion, which he sustained in Thursday night's 21-17 victory over the Detroit Lions, is not believed to be severe and it's possible he could suit up against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 29, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.

Head coach Jay Gruden declined to put a timetable on how long he expects Griffin to be sidelined, but did say that he expects him to be reinstated into the starting lineup when he returns.

Griffin completed 2-of-5 passes for eight yards and was sacked three times before being forced out of the game in the second quarter.
