The Montreal Alouettes picked up their first road victory of the season Thursday night with a 23-13 win over the BC Lions.

Montreal snapped a three-game losing streak in the process and won just just the second time in Vancouver since 2000, improving its record to 2-13 at BC Place during that span.

Tyrell Sutton led the way for the Als, picking up 111 rushing yards on 14 carries, while adding four receptions for 43 yards. Rakeem Cato went 16-of-19 for 154 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while Nik Lewis was the team's leading receiver with four receptions for 52 yards and a score.

Travis Lulay did what he could for BC, finishing 18-of-29 for 216 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The Lions were unable to get anything going on the ground however, rushing 11 times for just 33 yards. Overall, the Als rushing attack outgained BC by 218 yards.

The win improved Montreal to 3-5 on the season as the Alouettes look to get out of the East Division basement, while the Lions fall to 3-5 and into a tie with Winnipeg in the tightly-contested West Division.
