Robert Griffin III leaves game vs. Lions with stinger, possible head injury

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III left Thursday's game after taking a big hit.
Griffin suffered a stinger on the play and was evaluated for a head injury.
The Redskins are not giving any information on whether Griffin passed through concussion protocol and told members of the media that head coach Jay Gruden will address the situation following the game.
Griffin was on the ground often prior to his exit, taking a number of big hits during the first quarter. The Redskins offensive line could not protect Griffin, missing top left tackle Trent Williams due to injury.
Griffin was hit on six-of-eight drop backs during the first half.
