Sponsors meet with FIFA over corruption concerns

Amid investigations from Swiss and American authorities related to alleged corruption within football's governing body, concerned sponsors met with FIFA on Thursday to discuss their apprehensions.
FIFA subsequently sent the press release below, giving very few details of the meeting while coincidentally claiming their commitment to transparency:

Thursday's meeting is on the back of FIFA's announcement that they have started an internal corruption investigation, with an aim to "(improve) the organization, and ... continue to strengthen FIFA's governance and accountability."
