Report: Ravens' Breshad Perriman dealing with sprained PCL in right knee

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who's been sidelined since July 30 with a right knee injury, is dealing with a PCL sprain, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

It's unclear whether the diagnosis is expected to keep the rookie out much longer, as he's already missed three full weeks of training camp, but he was seen on the sideline Thursday wearing a brace on his injured knee.

Baltimore selected Perriman with the 26th overall pick in this year's draft, likely hoping he'd be able to step into a starting role opposite veteran wideout Steve Smith from day one.

Missing some key preseason reps will likely set him back in that regard, however, and Kamar Aiken should remain the favorite for the No. 2 receiver role until Perriman can get some meaningful playing time under his belt.
