Report: Manchester United considers including young Real Madrid striker in David De Gea deal
Reuters
Manchester United are eager to collect more than just a monetary return if it's going to sell David De Gea to Real Madrid.
The club has targeted young striker Borja Mayoral as a possible player to be included in a transfer that would see the Spanish 'keeper move to Los Blancos, sources tell Peter O'Rourke of ESPNFC.
United are said to be against letting De Gea depart for a transfer fee less than the record amount paid for a goalkeeper when Juventus paid Parma £32.6 million for the services of Gianluigi Buffon in 2001.
Mayoral, 18, a regular fixture in Madrid's reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla, is a highly rated forward who finished as the top scorer (three goals) with the Spanish team at the European Under-19 Championship.
