Rumors linking Sergio Ramos with a move to Manchester United can be put to rest after the Spanish defender committed his long-term future to Real Madrid.

Ramos has agreed to sign a new five-year contract that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2020, the club announced Monday.

Ramos will be paraded in front of the Real Madrid faithful during a ceremony at the team's stadium later in the day.

With his previous deal set to expire in 2017, it was widely believed Ramos was unsettled at the club and was seeking a move away, with Manchester United reportedly making two unsuccessful offers to lure him to Old Trafford.

Ramos, 29, will now continue his illustrious career with Los Blancos, where he's won three La Liga titles and one Champions League crown since joining Real from Sevilla in 2005.
