VIDEO: McIlroy makes up for earlier double bogey with eagle chip-in

After watching playing partner Jordan Spieth chip in for birdie out of the bunker on the 18th hole earlier in the day, Rory McIlroy knew he had to do one better.
The No. 1 player in the world – who double bogeyed that same 18th hole to finish his back nine to start his second round at the PGA Championship on Friday – made up for his earlier mistake at the second hole with this 40-foot chip-in eagle from the fairway at the 593-yard par 5.

The eagle moved McIlroy back to 2-under for the tournament as he looks to defend his 2014 PGA Championship title at Whistling Straits.
