Arsenal could be without Tomas Rosicky until October as the oft-injured midfielder recovers from knee surgery.

Rosicky's agent, Pavel Paska, confirmed the injury to Sky Sports, saying his client is expected to miss up to two months after having the procedure performed Aug. 4.

"The recovery is expected to take four to eight weeks," Paska revealed.

Rosicky, 34, who signed a new contract with Arsenal in May, suffered the injury during the Czech Republic's European qualifying match against Iceland in June.

Injuries have limited Rosicky to just 52 appearances over the past three seasons.
