Three Buffalo basketball players have reportedly been accused of on-campus theft.

MAC Player of the Year Justin Moss, along with teammates Raheem Johnson and Mory Diane, stole $650 from a campus dorm room on June 2, according to a university police report obtained by the Buffalo News' Mark Gaughan.

The report says that the incident involving Moss, Johnson, and Diane, who were hired by the apartment complex to change smoke detectors and other work, was deemed second-degree burglary with an illegal entry into a dwelling.

The teammates returned the money to the victims, Buffalo football players who agreed not to press charges, but the case was handed over to the the school’s student misconduct body, the Student-Wide Judiciary.

A police report states that Moss, Johnson, and Diane were suspended from the team as of June 5.

"The players are enrolled at the university and are members of the men's basketball team," said associate vice president for media relations John DellaContrada. "Because of federal privacy laws protecting student records, the university cannot confirm or comment on student conduct proceedings."

The Buffalo News reports that it is possible that the trio could be ruled ineligible for play for the first semester.

Moss averaged 17.5 points and 9.2 rebounds last season. Johnson averaged 2.8 points, while Diane was ruled academically ineligible for second semester action.
