VIDEO: Spike Lee narrates Stephen Curry's story in 2K16

After winning both MVP and the NBA championship, Stephen Curry's days of playing in the shadows is over.

That's the story told by director Spike Lee in NBA 2K16, which features Curry as one of its cover athletes. Lee, a proud New York Knicks fan, tells the story of how Curry went from being an overlooked collegiate prospect, to a bona fide NBA superstar.

Curry's story must have been difficult for Lee to narrate. His Knicks narrowly missed out on Curry, who was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the seventh overall pick. Instead, the Knicks ended up taking Jordan Hill with the eighth pick.
