The Dallas Mavericks announced the signings of guard John Jenkins and center Jarrid Famous on Friday.
Per team policy, terms of the deals were not announced. However, RealGM's Shams Charania reports Jenkins and Famous will receive three-year deals. Jenkins will earn the minimum, ESPN Dallas's Tim MacMahon reports.
The 24-year-old Jenkins was drafted 23rd overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2012. He rarely found playing time for the Hawks, logging a total of 1,357 minutes across three seasons. He did, however, prove to be an accurate shooter, connecting on 37.5 percent of his 3-point tries.
Famous, meanwhile, has bounced around the international circuit since going undrafted in 2011. He logged time in China, the Dominican Republic, Slovakia, and the Philippines between various D-League stints.
The 27-year-old Famous played for the Washington Wizards in NBA Summer League where he averaged 10.2 points and 6.8 rebounds in 20.2 minutes across five contests.
