Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan was named Best Defender by his peers at the NBPA's first-ever Players' Awards on Tuesday.

Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Tony Allen (Memphis Grizzlies), and Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls) were also nominated.

Jordan averaged 11.5 points and 2.2 blocks in a full 82-game slate last season with the Clippers, leading the league in both rebounding (15) and field goal percentage (71 percent).
