Mario Balotelli congratulates former teammate Raheem Sterling for scoring 1st goal
While most Liverpool fans continue to foam at the mouth over Raheem Sterling's transfer away from Anfield, former teammate Mario Balotelli had nothing but love for the midfielder after his first goal for Manchester City.
Balotelli suggested the 20-year-old should let his performances on the pitch do the talking following his controversial exit.
Well done @sterling31 ! Best answer ?. Keep it up.

The Liverpool forward, who left City in a similarly controversial manner in 2013, was quick to praise his fans on the Merseyside squad, but requested they look past the way Sterling left and remember the joy he brought them during three seasons with the team.
Liverpool fans are amazing but i hope@sterling31 will play at his best because he deserve it.He s a good guy young and talented.....
