VIDEO: Seth Curry channels brother, dishes behind-the-back pass
Seth Curry could be on his way to adding another MVP award to the Curry family trophy room.
Curry scored 20 points for the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, leading the team to a 3-0 record at Las Vegas Summer League. He's been very good through three outings, scoring a tournament-high 75 points, even with the family's patented 3-point stroke having abandoned him so far (he's 4-of-22 from outside).
Splitting time at the point and off the ball alongside Larry Drew II - Drew had a ridiculous 16 assists on Monday - Curry has also added 11 rebounds, seven assists, and 10 steals in the tournament.
One of those assists channelled brother Steph Curry, with Seth dropping a beautiful behind-the-back pass for Bryce Dejean-Jones:
A 30-point tournament opener served notice that the younger Curry is gunning for an NBA roster spot this year.
Seth, who attended Liberty and then transferred to Duke before going undrafted in 2013, has spent the last two seasons trying to fight his way onto an NBA roster. A two-time D-League All-Star and a member of the All-NBA D-League First Team this season, the 24-year-old has struggled to get a footing with a parent club.
He's appeared in four NBA games for three teams across two seasons, but the Pelicans could use some additional guard depth and new head coach Alvin Gentry is familiar with the family from his time with the Golden State Warriors.
