The Boston Celtics have the most NBA titles all-time, and Real Madrid is a nine-time Euroleague and 32-time Spanish League champion.
The two legendary franchises will meet in an exhibition contest Oct. 8 in Madrid, the NBA announced Monday. The Celts will be world-travelers this fall, as they also play a regular season game against the Sacramento Kings in Mexico City on Dec. 3.
It's all part of the league's Global Games 2015 package, which also sees the Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets playing two preseason games in China, and the Orlando Magic taking on Brazilian club Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro.
