Fighters discuss the USADA's ban of using IVs following weigh-ins: 'I've used IVs before' (VIDEO)

As part of the new regulations cooked up by the UFC and United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), fighters will no longer be allowed to rehydrate intravenously after cutting weight.

This rule has been met with mixed reviews, as most fighters admit to rehydrating via IV to speed up the process.

Quite possibly the strongest opponent of the new regulation, long-time veteran Jorge Masvidal referred to the ban of IVs as an "impending doom."

"I know so, man. I'm telling you, it's bad, man," Masvidal told MMAjunkie.com. "I've been using it for the better part of 10 years I've been using IVs. Like seven, eight years I've been using IVs consistently. I've been fighting for 12 years and to tell me now 'no more IVs' is f-cking nuts."
