Yohan Cabaye will be linking up with manager Alan Pardew once again.

Crystal Palace confirmed the signing of Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain for a club-record fee on Friday, as he put pen to paper on a three-year deal.

It was reported Tuesday that a fee of more than £10 million was expected to secure the 29-year-old midfielder, and his move to Selhurst Park will mark the first time Cabaye and Pardew have worked together since they were both at Newcastle United.

"I'm happy to be here," Cabaye said. "I've been waiting for the decision, had the medical and now I can't wait to focus on my new team, a new season and my new life. I wanted to come and play for Palace because there are some really strong players here. They finished very well last season and I think they can compete to get into the top eight.

"I also know the gaffer and have worked with him before and I'm confident in him. I want to do my best for him because he's made a big effort to get me to come here, as well as the Chairman, so I have to say a big thank you to both of them."

Cabaye, who made only 13 Ligue 1 starts for PSG in 2014-15 due to a mix of injuries and a limited role, voiced his frustration at featuring as a substitute near the beginning of his first season at the Parc des Princes, saying, "I am not satisfied with the situation. Am I completely happy? To be honest, no."

The idea of Cabaye playing alongside Wilfried Zaha in Palace's midfield is a scary prospect.
