Nolan Arenado: Resting Sunday

Arenado is out of the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Arenado hasn't had a day off since May 21, so this was long overdue for the 24-year-old, who recently had a 17-game hit streak snapped. Daniel Descalso will relieve him at third base for the afternoon contest.
