Khris Davis: (Knee) Activation Imminent

Davis (knee) is expected to rejoin the Brewers during their upcoming three-game homestand, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Davis hasn't seen the field for the Brewers since May 30, but should return to Miller Park at some point over the next three days. Manager Craig Counsell wouldn't commit to a Monday activation, but it seems to be only a matter of time at this point. It may be tough to work him back into the lineup considering the recent hot stretch of Gerardo Parra, but the power threat Davis brings to the lineup should warrant consistent at-bats once he's at full strength.
