Stephen Strasburg: Exits Early Saturday

Strasburg left Saturday's game early due to an apparent injury. He tossed 3.2 scoreless innings against the Giants in the abbreviated start.

Analysis:

He appeared to be wincing and grabbing his left side in the fourth inning. The Nats removed Strasburg from the game after his first pitch to Brandon Belt. With an off day in the schedule next Thursday, the Nats could skip Strasburg's final turn before the All-Star break if needed. Tanner Roark replaced him in long relief, and Joe Ross could be summoned back to the big club if Strasburg's injury proves to be a serious one.
