Padres' Norris attempting to play through shoulder sprain

San Diego Padres catcher Derek Norris is in the lineup Saturday despite suffering a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder during Friday's game, Dennis Lin of U-T San Diego reports.

Analysis:

With the All-Star break looming after next weekend, Norris will likely get a few extra days off to rest, but his presence in the lineup on a day-to-day basis until then is worth monitoring in the event that the injury gets worse.
