Coyotes sign Derek Smith, Eric Selleck to 1-year, 2-way contracts

The Arizona Coyotes made two minor transactions Friday.
The team signed defenseman Derek Smith and forward Eric Selleck each to one-year, two-way contracts, the team announced on their official website.
Smith spent last season with Zurich of the Swiss National League where he had three goals and five points in 25 games.
Meanwhile, Selleck spent last season with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League where he posted eight goals and 23 points in 74 games.
