Marseille reaches agreement in principle for Bouna Sarr of Metz

Bouna Sarr is set to move from northern to southern France.

Olympique Marseille reached an agreement in principle with Metz on Friday for the permanent transfer of the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, subject to a medical.

Sarr notched two goals and two assists through 30 Ligue 1 appearances last season, while establishing himself as a key player at the Stade Saint-Symphorien. However, he was unable to save Metz from relegation.
