The New York Knicks are out of the DeAndre Jordan sweepstakes, while the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers remain the apples of the big man's eye.

Jordan's camp informed the Knicks on Friday that they have been eliminated from Jordan's list of potential suitors, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

While it had been reported late Thursday that Jordan was "torn" between the Clippers and Mavericks, the elimination of New York further proves that point.

Jordan, who has spent the entirety of his seven-year career with the Clippers, also sat down with the Lakers in his free-agency meetings, although there have been no reports of Jordan's interest in the purple and gold.

Jordan averaged a career-high 11.5 points and a league-leading 15 rebounds per game this past season, earning Third-Team All-NBA honors and a third-place finish in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

The Clippers offer the opportunity to continue playing alongside superstars Chris Paul and Blake Griffin on an established championship contender, although the free-agent center is reportedly concerned about how Doc Rivers' roster will age.

The Mavericks, meanwhile, can pair Jordan with Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons in a potentially devastating frontcourt. Dallas also recently agreed to terms with free-agent shooting guard Wesley Matthews.
