Connor McDavid is officially a member of the Edmonton Oilers.

The young phenom, drafted first overall at the 2015 NHL Draft, put pen to paper on his first pro contract Friday.

The deal is reportedly worth $925,000 per season, but McDavid can earn up to $2.85 million based on performance bonuses, according to Chris Johnston of Sportsnet.

The 18-year-old recorded 97 goals and 188 assists in 166 regular-season games over three campaigns with the OHL's Erie Otters prior to the draft.
