Manny Banuelos: Debut Cut Short

Banuelos left Thursday's game against the Nationals in the sixth inning with an apparent injury, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.

Analysis:

Everything seemed to be going so smoothly for Banuelos -- he had given up just two hits with seven strikeouts and no walks -- but he hit back-to-back batters with pitches in the sixth and was lifted shortly thereafter. It wasn't obvious what was ailing Banuelos. He should be considered day-to-day until more information becomes available.
