Lagares will give way to Darrell Cecilliani for the third time in the last seven games, but still doesn't appear to be in danger of losing playing time long-term. Like the rest of the Mets' offense, Lagares has underperformed a bit this season, even though his .260 June batting average is right in line with his career .261 mark.
