With the Houston Rockets potentially trying to keep cap space open for one of general manager Daryl Morey's tricks, it appears Spanish point guard Sergio Llull won't be moving over from Real Madrid next season, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Llull, 27, was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft. The Rockets then purchased his draft rights for approximately $2.25 million - the most expensive transaction ever for a round two draftee.

Morey went on record last week saying that Houston's priority is to keep its own unrestricted free agents - Josh Smith, Corey Brewer, and Jason Terry, as well as restricted ones in Patrick Beverley and K.J. McDaniels. However, Morey can't be ruled out of the sweepstakes for other premium players.

LaMarcus Aldridge, for one.

While the Rockets would like to bring Llull across the pond, the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen reported last week that it would probably take more than the mid-level exception to do it. Apparently, such a financial commitment is not the Rockets' priority right now.
