After Xavier Scruggs went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Saturday's spot start, he'll get another whirl at first base at the expense of Reynolds, who sits for a second straight day. Though Scruggs is rather unproven at the big league level and isn't a major prospect, Reynolds' own recent struggles (0-for-11 with four strikeouts in his last three games) may lead manager Mike Matheny to employ a timeshare at the position.
