Analysis:

The hope remains that Irving is on track to take the field during training camp, though he may not be full-go on that front right away. "The docs and the trainers are optimistic that there's a possibility that by August 1 he might be ready to get back in the fold and do some things, but it's not 100 percent," Pagano cautioned. Once he's up to speed, Irving, who recorded 46 tackles in eight games for Denver in 2014, will have a chance to compete for a starting inside linebacker job for the Colts.
