Cameron Payne: Picked 14th by Oklahoma City

Payne was selected by the Thunder with the 14th pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.

Analysis:

One of the top mid-major players in NCAA hoops last year, Payne scored 20.3 points per game with 6.0 assists for Murray State last season. He's not particularly big - just a hair over six feet without shoes - but has an impressive 6-7.5 wingspan that should help him defend passing lanes. He's likely to slot in as the third point guard behind Russell Westbrook and D.J. Augustin initially but could share time in the backcourt with OKC's All-Star lead guard as well. Payne suffered a fractured finger during his pre-draft workout with the Nuggets, but the injury is not considered serious and should not impact him going forward.
