Red Wings' Datsyuk has ankle surgery; sidelined 4-6 weeks

Pavel Datsyuk will likely be off his feet for most of the summer after undergoing ankle surgery Friday.
The Detroit Red Wings veteran forward is expected to be in a cast for four-to-six weeks, which should delay the start of his offseason training. That timeline puts him on track to return to the ice in August.
Datsyuk's ankle surgery was to repair ruptured tendons from a blocked shot late in the #RedWings season. He returned from Russia last week.

Injuries limited Datsyuk to 63 games last season and 45 contests in 2013-14.
