Dirk on new Mavs rookie: 'We drafted somebody slower than me'

Fact: Dirk Nowitzki has a wry sense of humor.
When asked about the Dallas Mavericks' new rookie Satnam Singh Bhamara, who was selected with the No. 52 pick in Thursday's draft, the German superstar provided this self-deprecating gem:

Nowitzki has never been known to be a particularly quick-footed or athletic player, so he must be pleased that he will not be the slowest player on the practice court next season should the Mavs hold on to Bhamara.
Bhamara is the first ever Indian-born draft pick in NBA history.
